1. Description of Service

Fileroy.com provides free file hosting with:

Unlimited storage

A maximum file size of 10GB per upload

No download limits for shared files

Auto-deletion of inactive files 30 days after the last download

Fileroy is intended for temporary storage and sharing. Do not upload files that you cannot afford to lose.

2. User Responsibilities

By using Fileroy.com, you agree:

Not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

Not to upload or share viruses, malware, or any other malicious software.

Not to use the service for spam, phishing, or distributing unauthorized copyrighted material.

To respect the rights and privacy of others.

To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Violation of these rules may result in removal of your files and banning your access without notice.

3. File Retention and Deletion

Files that are not downloaded within 30 days from the last download will be automatically and permanently deleted.

We do not guarantee long-term storage or backups of your files.

It is your responsibility to back up important content.

We reserve the right to delete any file at any time if it violates our terms or poses a security risk.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Fileroy.com is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including:

That the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

That files will always be available or retrievable

That your data will not be lost or damaged

You use Fileroy at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Fileroy.com, its operators, or affiliates be liable for:

Loss of data or files

Any damages arising from file deletion, service interruption, or misuse

Any third-party actions involving your files or shared links

Our total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of the files they upload. By uploading a file, you grant Fileroy.com a limited license to host and deliver that file via public links.

You must ensure that any uploaded content does not infringe the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove infringing content upon notice.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service without notice if:

You violate these Terms of Use

You abuse or misuse the platform

We need to comply with a legal obligation

8. Modifications to Service or Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the effective date updated accordingly. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.
